TCCS educational philosophy
•Students work in diverse, cooperative teams to produce tangible results
•Students use computers and technology in all aspects of their education from
K-8
•Small group instruction ensures that all students meet high standards of
literacy and numeracy- no more than 17 students per class and only 2 classes per
grade.
•Students are empowered to utilize higher order thinking skills, to take
responsibility for their actions, and to solve problems independently and
creatively
•Real-world, hands-on projects encourage students to apply the skills they gain
in the classroom
•Parents are full partners in their children's education. Families work together
to improve the physical environment, enrich education and participate in
governance.

we send our son to the charter school and have been absolutely thrilled with the education. for the judaic component we send to the chabad in tenafly hebrew school + private tutoring.
The head K teacher at the charter school is kosher and makes sure all food that comes in for parties is kosher. The ovens/ microwave that the kids bake/cook in are kosher and all utensils and baking materials are kosher. If you were interested in sacs which doesnt look like it will ever happen definitely worth coming down tonight to the tccs open house and taking a tour of the school.
I heard there are over 50 shomer shabbat students at THS...sounds good - and heard it is growing annually. Wonder how many are actually looking into it and considering it?
