So you think you can dance? (I don't)

Most of you have heard about the IRS being under fire for wasting taxpayer dollars on a silly video of employees line dancing at a company conference.

It kind of reminded me of this:

Pretty ironic that you'd be taking shots at Color War, which is a prime example of "activity-based learning".

really? these videos cost nothing to make. they aren't professionally done , took 10 minutes and gave a nice school ruach.

TIme is money, whether it's teachers or administrators. I'm not saying its a big deal it just seemed relevant given what people were talking about on the news. The IRS video was also an infinitesimal part of the federal budget.

As long as the teachers are not missing class time, to do this, I have no problem. It is the time and money spend leaving school, missing teaching time, to go to these idiotic conferences in hotels that makes me sick.
